Middle Georgia College is an excellent place to complete your Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree or complete your pre-nursing degree and transfer to a four year Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. The Associate of Science in Nursing degree prepares the individual for eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

The ASN program at Middle Georgia College is offered in both Cochran and Dublin. Students are admitted to the program each Fall Semester. Students are encouraged to complete as many core requirements as possible prior to entry to the nursing program.

Students interested in pursuing a "generic" Bachelor's degree in Nursing can attend Middle Georgia College for two years in the pre-nursing program. A "generic" Bachelor's degree is one in which the student attends four years and earns the BSN prior to being eligible for licensure. The pre-nursing degree program provides the student with core courses for transfer to a four year BSN program.

Nursing faculty offer information sessions each semester. For dates and times, please call the Admissions Coordinator at (478) 934-3057.
