MIDDLE GEORGIA COLLEGE LISTSERVS

A LISTSERV or listserver is an automatic mailing list server. When an e-mail message is addressed to a LISTSERV mailing list, it is automatically sent to every individual whose name is on the list. Most of the LISTSERVs at MGC are moderated, and only those messages approved by the list manager will actually be sent to the group.

Please be aware that E-mail messages which contain graphics of any type will be rejected by the Listserver.
Following are the available LISTSERVS at MGC, with definitions and usage information:

mgclist	All employees are subscribed to and can post to this list. It is for official college business only.
mgc_bulletin	This is the employee list for things like houses for sale, free puppies, etc. Employees have to request to join this list.
mgc-faculty	All full-time faculty are subscribed to this list. It is for official college business only. This list is moderated by the Vice President of Administrative Affairs ("VPAA") office.
mgc-adjunct-faculty	All adjunct faculty are subscribed to this list. It is for official college business only. This list is moderated by the VPAA's office.
student-l	All MGC students are subscribed to this list. It is used to send information that pertains to MGC students, regardless of campus. This list is moderated by the Vice President of Student and Public Affairs ("VPSPA") office
cochran-l	MGC students taking any class on the Cochran campus are subscribed to this list. It is used to send information that pertains to MGC students on the Cochran campus. This list is moderated by the VPSPA's office
dublin-l	MGC students taking any class on the Dublin campus are subscribed to this list. It is used to send information that pertains to MGC students on the Dublin campus. This list is moderated by the VPSPA's office
eastman-l	MGC students taking any class on the Eastman campus are subscribed to this list. It is used to send information that pertains to MGC students on the Eastman campus. This list is moderated by the VPSPA's office.
dorm-l	All MGC dorm students are subscribed to this list. It is used to send information that pertains to all MGC dorm students, regardless of campus. This list is moderated by the VPSPA's office.
gameslist	All MGC GAMES students are subscribed to this list. It is used to send information that pertains to all MGC GAMES students. This list is moderated by the Director of GAMES.
