NATURAL SCIENCES, MATHEMATICS, AND BUSINESS

The Division of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering is spread across the two campuses of Middle Georgia College. The majority of classes within the Division are taught in Dillard Hall on the main campus in Cochran, Georgia which is about 45 minutes south of Macon, Georgia. The satellite campus, or Dublin Center, is located about 30 minutes southeast of Cochran. Both campuses are easily accessible from Interstate-16.
The Division serves as the hub for science, math, and engineering education in the middle Georgia area. After fulfilling the two-year programs within the Division, many of our students continue their education at other fine institutions such as the Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Georgia, Georgia Southern University, and Georgia College & State University to name a few. Other students continue their education by attending nursing school, pharmacy school, or some other professional school. Fields of study that are taught within the Division include Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Geology, Mathematics, and Physics.
The Division is also home to the Georgia Academy of Mathematics, Engineering, and Science (GAMES). GAMES is a special program where science, math, and engineering oriented high school students are able to attend Middle Georgia College full-time during their junior and senior years of high school. After completing two years at Middle Georgia College, GAMES students are able to graduate both with a high school diploma from their hometown high school and with an Associates Degree in a field of their choice from Middle Georgia College. GAMES is located on the main campus only.
