MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR GAMES:

High School Junior or Senior* AND
Be on an accelerated college prep curriculum AND
A GPA of 3.50 or better on a 4.0 scale AND
Minimum Total Score of 1100 on the SAT (Minimums of 560 Math and 530 Verbal)
OR
24 Composite on the ACT (Minimums of 24 Math and 23 Verbal) AND
Submit a GAMES Application Form AND
Submit an Essay AND
Reference forms will be provided for a math teacher, a science teacher, and the high school counselor AND
On-campus Interview of Student AND
On-campus Interview of Parent(s) or Guardian(s)

Requirements to Remain in the GAMES Program:

Maintain an Overall GPA of 2.75**
Comply with all GAMES Dorm Rules
Comply with all Middle Georgia College Rules

* In rare cases, a younger student exhibiting remarkable abilities may be considered for admission to the GAMES program, if he/she places in the top 5% nationally on the SAT.

** If a GAMES student's GPA falls below 2.75, he/she will be on probation and have one semester to improve the GPA to 2.75 or higher. If the GPA does not improve, the student will be subject to dismissal from the program and from the college.
