CRIME STATISTICS
In 1998, the federal government passed the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, formerly the Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act of 1990.
The law specifically requires the reporting of violent crime, burglary, and motor vehicle theft as well as a summary of arrests and disciplinary referrals for liquor law violations, drug abuse violations and weapon possessions.
In compliance with this act, statistics for the previous three years and information about certain security policies are available on Middle Georgia College Police Department's web page or you can obtain a hard copy by contacting the police department.
