PATROL
Currently Middle Georgia College Police Department's patrol division is divided into three shifts (day, evening, midnight), which operate twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days a year. These officers respond to public calls for assistance, escorts, emergencies, sick and injured persons, vehicle accidents, unlocking vehicles and calls of a criminal nature. Officers patrol the campus by means of bike and foot patrol along with vehicle patrol.
The patrol officers make regular foot patrols of residence halls and buildings on campus in order to maintain the safety of the MGC community. This personal contact with the students and the faculty/staff helps to build trust and excellent working relationships.
