Air Traffic Management
4-Year Program of Study
On behalf of the Middle Georgia College leadership and staff, it is my pleasure to introduce Middle Georgia College's (MGC) nationally ranked Air Traffic Management degree programs.
In 2007, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) placed Middle Georgia College at the top of a distinguished list of new Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) programs in the country. Being the "number 1" ranked new college is an honor and is an indication of the education you will receive with MGC.
The Air Traffic Control program faculty is comprised of 8 full-time Air Traffic Control professionals with extensive Air Traffic Control experience; some of our faculty not only instruct students in air traffic, but they also staff the college's air traffic control tower.
The Air Traffic Control program maintains 1.7 million dollars worth of advanced simulation equipment and operates within the national airspace system using cutting edge communications equipment.
Students in the 4-year degree program earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a track in Air Traffic Management and also earn an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Air Traffic Management. They have the opportunity to bypass the first 5 weeks of the Federal Aviation Administration training program at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Our graduates are propelled into a highly technical fast-paced career that will last a lifetime.
Middle Georgia College's air traffic staff and faculty are committed to provide our students with the best education possible; we look forward to starting you on a journey of a lifetime!
Students who anticipate employment with the FAA must be able to pass a background check, a psychological evaluation, and physical examination: for information concerning the physical examination click here:
