Welcome to the Department of Education at Middle Georgia College. Our department has the newest four-year degree program, which is the Bachelor of Science in Special Education General Curriculum Early Childhood (P-5).

There are so many exciting and fulfilling initiatives taking place in the Department of Education at MGC as we achieve excellence in our mission to educate Middle Georgians and provide service to the community. Our students have the opportunity to take part in a cohort modeled program focusing on student learning and teaching excellence in which graduates will find unlimited possibilities. Our students learn through doing as they attend classes, complete field work in schools with diverse students, and become part of the educational community.
