 GALLERY TALK & OPENING RECEPTION FOR ARTIST MICHAEL CARTER’S EXHIBIT AT MGC (Cochran, GA) – Middle Georgia College invites faculty, students, and community members to a Gallery Talk and Opening Reception for artist Michael Carter’s exhibit “On Seeing the Word” on Monday, January 23 at 6:00 p.m. at MGC’s Peacock Gallery in Russell Hall. According to his artist statement, Carter’s exhibit consists of digital artwork that explores the depths of Hebrew from visual elegance to symbolic references. “On Seeing the Word” will be on display January 23 through February 24. Peacock Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The exhibit is free and open to the public. |
