 MGC AND MSC JOIN TO RECRUIT FOR MIDDLE GEORGIA STATE COLLEGE (Cochran, GA) – Middle Georgia College and Macon State College recently came together at the CSRA College Night in Augusta to recruit for Middle Georgia State College, the future consolidated institution of MGC and MSC. By having two representatives from each institution working together, each college reinforced to students that they are two separate institutions that will become one. The setup also allowed them to work together to answer questions about degree programs offered at each institution. CSRA College Night was developed for high school students to inform them of college education opportunities across the United States, with over 140 engineering universities and liberal arts colleges in attendance, according to their website. Luke Ellis, an MGC Admissions Representative, said, “It was an incredible night, and we received an unbelievable amount of interest for the future institution. Hopefully, most of the students will welcome the opportunity that awaits them at Middle Georgia State College.” |
