MGC HOSTS SPOKEN WORD POETS CARLOS ROBSON AND BLUZ

(Cochran, GA) – Middle Georgia College recently hosted spoken word poets Carlos Robson and Bluz as part of its Coffee House series in the Student Center on the Cochran campus. During the performance, students enjoyed light refreshments. Carlos Robson has performed throughout the nation and on Broadway, and is a co-founder of the Charlotte-based artist collective known as The Concrete Generation. He has been twice nominated for the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities’ Spoken Word Artist of the Year. Bluz has worked with organizations such as HBOs Def Poetry, the Afro-American Cultural Center, CBS Radio, and Radio Disney.
