![]() MGC HOLDS OPEN HOUSE AND RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY FOR ALUMNI HOUSE (Cochran, GA) – Middle Georgia College recently celebrated the opening of its newly renovated Alumni House with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and an Open House. The event was attended by Middle Georgia College faculty, staff, alumni, and community members, as well as Cochran Mayor Cliff Avant. In his welcome speech, MGC President Dr. Mike Stoy thanked David Selby and Jennifer Powers from McLees, Boggs, and Selby Architects, Webster Construction, Casey Paulk and Paulk Landscaping, the MGC Maintenance and IT Crews, the Alumni Association Board of Directors, the MGC Foundation’s Board of Trustees, and the Cochran Chamber of Commerce. MGC Alumni Association President Michael Parkerson then gave a brief history of the house. Attendees enjoyed a tour of the Alumni House and refreshments. |
