TRANSIENT STUDENT INFORMATION
Students who wish to go transient to another institution to take courses that count toward their degree at Middle Georgia College must be in good standing and must complete the Transient Request Form AVAILABLE FROM YOUR ADVISOR. You must obtain approval from your advisor and the registrar. This form must specify the course (s) to be taken at the other institution, and the student must request the registrar from the other institution to send a transcript to the Registrar's Office at Middle Georgia College in order to receive credit for the work. Ordinarily students are permitted to obtain transient permissions for only one term.
Middle Georgia College will accept only the credit hours from transient courses that are passed with a C or better. Grades earned in these courses will have no effect on the student's institutional cumulative grade-point average at Middle Georgia College. The student is responsible for requesting a transcript to be sent to Middle Georgia College from the transient school.
